With travel back on and most restrictions lifted, many of us are planning our vacations and thinking about how we can escape with our horses. But if you want to head out into the wild, you better be prepared. Scott Cotton, area extension specialist at the University of Wyoming and lifelong cowboy and wilderness adventurer, shares tips on how you and your horse can trail ride safely amidst the wildlife. Even if you don’t plan on brining a horse, his advice can make your next big hike a bit safer.
